Privacy Policy
Silver Tech Notes is a simple, read-only blog. There are no accounts, no comment forms, and no checkout on this site — so there is very little about you for us to collect in the first place.
What is collected when you visit
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard technical logs — pages requested, approximate location by country/region, browser type, and time of visit — used to keep the site secure and to understand which articles are read. These logs are not used to identify individual readers.
- No tracking cookies set by us. This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
Affiliate links and other websites
Some links here lead to other companies’ websites (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click one, that company’s own privacy policy applies to anything you do there, and the affiliate network may use a cookie to record that your visit came from this site so a commission can be credited. We do not receive your name, payment details, or anything you enter on those sites — only an aggregate report that a purchase or sign-up happened.
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply, and we do not sell, rent, or share email addresses. There is no mailing list for this blog at this time; if that changes, this page will be updated first and signing up will always be your choice.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not collect health information. Please do not send us medical details about yourself or your family by email — we are a publication, not a medical provider.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children; this site is written for adults.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions about privacy are welcome through the contact page.
This blog’s privacy practices are separate from the Silver Tech app, which has its own privacy policy at silvertechhealth.com.
